I will take a make-up class on Jan 29 (friday) from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. The class will be held in DAWB 2-104 (Dr. Alvin Woods Bldg).

2. Apri 6, 2010

Final Exam will be held in Athletic Complex on April 24 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Final Exam will be a comprehensive exam. It will cover Chapter 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 16 (16.1 and 16.2 only) from the textbook.  All of the exam materials will be more or less equally covered.

Exam will be 3 hours long. It will have the following two parts:

Part A: 2 out of 3 Short Questions / 'True, False or Uncertain with explanation' type questions  2* 15 = 30 marks  [Note: I reduced the number of questions which you have to answer in Part A.]

Part B: 3 Multi-part Problem Solving Questions 70 marks  

To prepare for the exam, I strongly recommend you to work out  the optional assignments which are posted on the website. You should also go through the solutions to the midterm exam which is posted on the course website. You should study the textbook and go through the lecture slides and your class lecture notes carefully.  In particular, you should make sure that you understand all of the models  including its derivations and graphical explanations.

April 7th 3:00 - 3:00 pm

April 21st 3:00 - 5:00 pm 

April 22nd 1:00 - 3:00 pm

You can also pick up your midterm exams during the above mentioned office hours if you have not already done so.
