Midterm exam will be held on Oct 25 (monday) in class. Exam will cover Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Exam will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long. It will have the following two parts:
Part A: 30 multiple choice questions 30*1 = 30 marks
Part B: 6 problem solving/analytical questions 6*5 = 30 marks
To prepare for the exam I srongly recommend you to work out the optional assignments (1 and 2) which are posted on the course website and Practice Questions - Set 1, Set 2, Set 3, Set 4 and Set 5, which are posted on MyEconLab.

December 8, 2010
EC 223 Final Exam will be held in Athletic Complex on Dec 11 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. As I mentioned in last class, final exam will cover Chapter 1 to Chapter 7, inclusive, Chapter 13, Chapter 16, and Chapter 17(only pages 431 -445, inclusive) from the textbook (4th edition). Exam will be 3 hours long. It will have the following two parts:
Part A: 50 multiple choice questions 50*1 = 50 marks
Part B: 10 problem solving/analytical questions 10*5 = 50 marks
To prepare for the exam I srongly recommend you to work out all Optional Assignments (1, 2, 3, and 4) which are posted on the course website and all Practice Questions sets which are posted on MyEconLab. You should also study the
Questions in Part B of the exam will be similar to the questions in Optional Assignments. To prepare for Part A of the exam, I recommend you to read the textbook carefully and to go through your class lecture notes. And you should also work out the multiple choice questions from all Practice Questions sets which are posted on MyEconLab.
