OL480* Project Management Practicum
Human Rights and Human Diversity students are now able to enroll in OL480*.
OL480* is a 1.0 credit (two-term) Leadership course in which students learn about the theory and practice of project management, including how to use popular project management software, and apply project management principles in an unpaid placement with a non-profit or for-profit organization.
Students who intend to enroll in this course are encouraged to contact the instructor in the spring or summer before the start of the fall term. Faculty will work with students to identify and review practicum opportunities and to determine the organization's capacity to support the placement. Practicum projects and sites must be approved by the faculty instructor--ideally in the spring or summer term prior to staring the course.
Course prerequisites: OL233, OL/CT224, and registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 honours Leadership or honours Human Rights & Human Diversity program.
