United Way Campaign: Waterloo Campus
Laurier’s Waterloo campus kicked off its United Way campaign Oct. 7 with a United Way bake sale that tempted the taste buds of passers-by in the Science Atrium, KPMG Atrium, 202 Regina St. and the Concourse.
From boo-berries and top hats to carrot cakes and cheesecake raffles, there was no shortage of treats and creativity.
Thanks to the participation of the baking teams and all those who purchased baked goods, the bake sale raised $2,134 in support of the United Way of K-W and Area.
The “Sweet Service” team from Enrolment Services came out the winner, raising a total of $590.
