MFin Admissions Requirements
This is an exclusive program limited to a select number of high quality students. In order to be admitted to the Master of Finance program, a student should have an honours degree in Economics or in Business. Students should have taken courses in Financial Accounting and Financial management. A student should have at least a B+ GPA over the last two years of courses and a GMAT score of at least 650. Applicants whose language of instruction during their undergraduate degree was other than English must demonstrate high proficiency in English. Students must achieve an acceptable score on one of the following: TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL Assessment or Michigan Test. For more information please refer to the English Proficiency Requirements. Two phone interviews conducted by university staff members will also be a mandatory part of the application process for international students. Only those students ready to compete with students whose first language is English will be accepted into the program.
Please note the supporting documents you must submit as part of your application to the Master of Finance program. Applications will only be reviewed once you have applied online and we have received all supplementary materials in our office.
As this is a competitive program with a limited number of spaces available, meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the program.
