Gail Vaz-Oxlade - Money Rules



The Laurier Brantford Registrarial Services Office, along with Development and Alumni Relations are pleased to present renowned financial writer and TV host Gail Vaz-Oxlade on Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, 88 Dalhousie Street.

Vaz-Oxlade is one of Canada’s most successful and respected financial writers and has authored several bestselling books, including Debt-Free ForeverNever Too LateMoney-Smart KidsIt’s Your Money and her newest book, Money Rules. She currently doles out her no-nonsense approach to finance as host of the television shows Princess and Til Debt Do Us Part, and is a radio host on Newstalk 1010. Watch for her new show, Money Moron, in spring 2013.

During her presentation, she will cover every topic under the financial sun—from TFSAs to taxes, borrowing to breaking bad habits, relationships to RRSPs—with a focus on what you can do while in university.

For money-phobes, this book will be a kick in the pants; for money-minders, it will ease the worry that there might be a financial tone they’ve left unturned; for everyone else, Gail’s rules provide what it takes to build a strong financial foundation that will last a lifetime.

Representatives from the Stedman Community Bookstore will be at the event to sell Gail's new book, Money Rules

Tickets are free and will be available as of March 4th, 2013. Tickets can be picked up at the Sanderson Centre box office for members of the community, at the U-Desk (10am-4pm) for Wilfrid Laurier University students and from Lisa Neziol for Wilfrid Laurier University staff, faculty or alumni.
