Graduation Requirements
Have you have met all program requirements for graduation?
The following worksheets are provided to assist you in reviewing your course selections with respect to the calendar requirements for your program.
To graduate, you must meet the calendar requirements that were in place the year
you started at Laurier or you may elect to graduate under a more recent calendar's
regulations. If you elect to graduate under a more recent calendar's requirements,
then you must meet all the requirements for that year. You will be
asked on your 'application to graduate' which calendar rules you have elected
to graduate under.
Normally, students graduate under the calendar requirements that were in
place the year they started at Laurier. The first two digits of your student
ID number will indicate which calendar you should be using. For example,
if you started in Fall 2003 in Honours Computing & Computer Electronics,
your student ID will start with '03' and you should use the 2003 worksheet
for the 2003-2004 calendar regulations. You could elect to graduate under a
more recent calendar.
Students who are graduating in a different program from their initial program should use the year that they entered their graduating program. For example, if you started in General Computer Science but you will be graduating in Honours Computer Science, use the calendar year when you switched to the Honours Computer Science program. Students who come back after more than 18 months absence use the returning year's calendar requirements.
