My Laurier Brantford Experience

My name is Jimmy, and I am a second year Leadership student here at Laurier Brantford. I really embraced coming to Laurier Brantford during my first year and my enthusiasm during Orientation Week earned me the title of MVP of my team, the Golden Genies. I loved Orientation Week so much so that I am an Icebreaker for this year so that I can hopefully create the same, if not better experience, for the new students coming to our campus.

I am truly blessed with the opportunities that have come my way while at Laurier Brantford. During first year, while I lived in residence, I got involved on campus as the Wilkes House representative on the Brantford Residence Council. The BRC has helped me meet many other first year students.

Laurier Brantford has changed my life! People always say that university is the place where you can reinvent yourself. The family-like community that is Laurier Brantford is the perfect place for reinventing yourself. That’s what I did and they supported me the whole way through. What I want to say here is that I am a true believer in Laurier Brantford and that Laurier Brantford is a true believer in me. I am going into my second year which I am excited for and I am looking forward to seeing all the amazing opportunities that this... home has to offer. I can only speak for myself but if, and just if, you are interested in an amazing experience and amazing opportunities then I encourage you to believe. I hope to see you here!
