Rebecca Gilmore (graduated 2009)
Masters of Environmental Studies Student
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2007. My undergraduate thesis project focused on the hydrolysis of aluminum and iron relating to water treatment and has lead me into a two year masters program jointly run through Wilfrid Laurier and Waterloo University (link). Under the supervision of Dr. S. Smith I obtained my MSc in Geography spring 2009. My MSc involved modelling the adsorption of phosphate onto iron complexes that occurs during wastewater treatment.
Currently I work in the analytical labs of the region of waterloo.
