Currently   Studying dentistry at U. of Toronto.

I completed a BSc honours degree in Kinesiology with a Major in Biology at the University of Western Ontario. During my undergraduate degree I developed an interest in fish in freshwater environments. I decided to pursue graduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in the McGeer lab. My research project invovled studying chronic cadmium accumulation between different species of trout. I studied accumulation within tissues (gill, liver, kidney and muscle) and subcellular fractions within each of these and provided insight into metal accumulation and detoxification and how this is linked to cell damage and maintaining proper organ function.
