TriAGe: Preparation for University Calculus

A refresher of material covered in the Grade 12 Advanced Functions course, TriAGe will help prepare students who plan to enrol in an entry level university calculus course by reinforcing fundamental skills in Trigonometry, Algebra and Geometry.  Topics discussed will include: algebraic manipulations used to simplify expressions and solve equations and inequalities; analytic geometry; and polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions.

Also integrated with the course content will be discussion of specific learning strategies to help students with the transition from high school mathematics to university level expectations.

A final assessment will be provided at the end of the course to students who complete a set of assignments and an end of course evaluation.

Review and deepen your understanding of core concepts to build a strong foundation and increase your chances of success in calculus!
