Dr. Steve Sider has expanded his work in Haiti this past year. He continues to give leadership to the Digital Mentoring Project which partners Haitian and Canadian school principals to support and learn from each other. He has also been involved with developing a professional association for school principals in Haiti (www.haitieducationalleadership.com) which will be expanded this summer in partnership with school administrators and officials from the Haitian Ministry of Education.
Dr. Sider is working with faculty from the University of Oklahoma and Nova Southeastern University (Florida), as well as Haitian universities and the Haitian Ministry of Education, in developing a teacher training program in Haitiís second largest city, Cap Haitien. He will be part of a team delivering and assessing the training this summer.
