2014 LEAP Bursary Program

For Summer 2014, LEAP has been fortunate to receive limited bursary funding from the  Elmira Kiwanis Club.

There are a limited number of bursaries available. Only campers demonstrating financial need will receive funding and even then, LEAP may not be able to fill all requests.

For summer 2014, an additional eligibility requirement is that campers applying for a bursary must reside in Woolwich Township.

The application deadline is April 30, 2014. Earlier applications will have a better chance of being placed in the camp of your choice. For this reason, bursary application packages should be submitted as soon as possible. All applications received up until each deadline will be considered. Applicants will receive an e-mail confirming that their documents have been received.

All applicants will be notified within one week of the bursary application deadline.

2014 Bursary Procedure

1. Bursary Application Form (2 pages)

2. Camp Registration Form (6 pages; leave payment area blank)

3. Letter from your child's classroom and/or special education resource teacher outlining their suitability for the program. If the teacher is familiar with your situation, they may also include information on your child's need for financial assistance, but this is not mandatory.

Submit all complete documents to LEAP by: email, fax (519-884-8697), mail (LEAP, Faculty of Education, WLU, 75 University Ave W., Waterloo ON, N2L 3C5), or in person.
