Summer camps for kids
This July, the Faculty of Education will be hopping with children! We will be sponsoring a series of academic enrichment camps, proposed and taught by our graduates and other teachers from the region. Laurier’s Enriched Academic Program (LEAP) fills a gap in the region, where there are excellent science, math and athletic camps and some great subject-specific camps such as archaeology, but not a collection of general academic enrichment. Camp topics range from cartooning to reptiles to Shakespeare to clay and are targeted to children and youth from grades 1 to 8.
