Aboriginal Academic Success Program

 



Study Halls

Work independently or in groups to complete course work and assignments with an Aboriginal Learning Tutor on hand to assist with study and learning skills questions.

  • Mondays, 5-7 pm
  • Wednesdays, 3-5 pm
  • Location: Aboriginal Student Centre (187 Albert Street)
  • **This qualifies as a SEEDS program activity requirement**

Learning Circles

In these workshops learn academic skills to achieve student success through guided conversation and activities.

  • Jan. 21 - Time Management
    • In this workshop you will learn: A variety of time management strategies that can bring balance to your schedule.
  • Feb. 11 - Learning Styles and Study Aids for Midterms
    • Find out what your preferred learning style is and how to develop study aids for midterms that build on your learning style.
  • Mar. 25 - Final Exam Strategies
    • During the workshop you will learn: Techniques for answering various types of exam questions, including multiple choice and essay.
  • Mondays, 5:00 - 6:30 pm
