Welcome to Laurier to Fundamentals of Chemistry! In this course, we will review some of the fundamental concepts of chemistry, including reactivity, thermochemistry, gas laws, atomic and molecular structure, and aspects of organic chemistry.
The course syllabus and other information is provided below, while most of the course content will be posted on MyLearningSpace.
For the lecture component of the course, you will need the textbook package and a 'clicker', both available from the Laurier Bookstore. See Syllabus below for more details.
Lab Information: Note that labs begin the first week of classes for sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. You will need to purchase a lab manual from the chemistry department, and you will need safety goggles and a lab coat (which are available at the bookstore). Again, see syllabus for more details.
