Submission Requirements



SOBDR 2013 Submission Requirements


We invite submission of research papers and posters (completed works or work in progress) in the broad area of human decision making. We are open to a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds (e.g., business, psychology, economics, etc.) and diverse methodologies (e.g., experimental, survey, qualitative, etc.).

Submissions can be considered for either a research talk or poster presentation.

Research Talk

Authors should submit a title along with a 150 word abstract summarizing the conceptualization, method, and major findings of the research. Ideally submissions should be completed works or work that is in the later stages of the research process. Authors should also indicate whether they want to present their research in the form of a poster presentation in the event there is not sufficient room in the schedule to permit a research talk. This information must be submitted by March 27, 2013. Each presenter will get 20 minutes to describe their research, followed by a 10 minute Q&A session.

Poster Presentation

Authors should submit a title along with a 150 word abstract summarizing the conceptualization, method, and major findings of the research. Submissions can include findings from early stages of a research project or a work in progress. This information must be submitted by March 27, 2013. Once accepted, the findings should be presented on a 48 inches (horizontally) X 36 inch (vertically) poster. The poster should contain the title of the research, and author's names and affiliations. The presenting author should be present during the session to answer questions of interested attendees. Authors are also encouraged to bring a few copies of a brief summary of their research to share.
