André-Philippe Hardy is a Managing Director of RBC Capital Markets,  
     a premier investment bank that provides a focused set of products and
     services to corporations, institutional investors, and governments around the
     world.  Mr. Hardy joined RBC Capital Markets in 2007 to lead the Canadian
     financials services equity research team, which focuses on banks, insurance
     companies, asset managers, mortgage lenders and other financial services
     companies.  Mr. Hardy was the No. 1 ranked Canadian bank analyst in the
     2010 and 2011 Brendan Wood International study and the No. 2 or No. 3
     ranked Canadian insurance analyst over the same period.  His stock-picking
     success in past years has been validated by his StarMine rankings and his
     work is often quoted in the financial press.

Before joining RBC Capital Markets’ research department, he covered the Canadian financial services
sector for Merrill Lynch Canada for three years and was at TD Securities for six years prior to that.  Mr.
Hardy holds an Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a
Chartered Financial Analyst.
