An 'option' is an enhanced minor that allows you to incorporate an accompanying area of study with your honours degree courses. All Options are 4 credits, and students must have a minimum overall GPA of 6.0 in the 4 credits. Options will be printed on your degree, whereas minors will only appear on your transcript. An option can be a strong addition to your degree, providing you with additional skills and a broad knowledge base, which appeals to prospective employers.
Students in Concurrent Education can consider the following options available on the Brantford Campus: Environment and Society, French Teaching Option, Indigenous Studies, International Development, Leadership, Media Studies, or Public Relations.
*Students in the Concurrent Education Program are not permitted to take the Children's Education and Development Option
