A: If you have made the decision to give to Laurier, a donation made on-line, or by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express is a convenient route. A: Yes. Official gift receipts are issued for all contributions – there is no minimum donation cut-off.

A: On average, the actual cost for a student to attend Laurier is far more than the cost of tuition. The Parents Fund helps to fund projects that would not otherwise be financially possible. What’s unique about the gifts you provide through the Parents Fund is that they enrich the Laurier experience for not only your own special student but students across campus, both now and in the future.

Q: Where are gifts to the Parents Fund allocated?

A: Through the Parents Fund, families of Laurier students provide much-needed unrestricted funds that allow the university to address its most pressing needs — priorities such as the library, athletics programs and many other worthwhile projects.

Q: Where can I direct my gift?

A: You can direct your gift to the area that means most to you. This could be a faculty or department, an athletic team, the library, a scholarship, bursary fund or to the university’s greatest needs.

A: Gifts to the university’s highest priority needs do not have a restriction on their use. These gifts give Laurier the flexibility to respond to exciting opportunities and emerging needs. They provide support for innovation and the development of challenging programs that inspire students and bring new life to lecture halls, labs and discussion groups. A gift to the university's highest priority needs is one of the most significant ways your contribution can make an impact.
