Conestoga College Options



The Videography-Broadcast Journalism/Documentary, New Media: Convergence (Electronic/Print Journalism) and Integrated Marketing Communications Programs are post-graduate programs offered at Conestoga College in Kitchener. Through an articulation agreement between Conestoga College and Laurier Brantford, Journalism students in their third year of studies may be eligible to enroll in the program.

Who Is Eligible?

  • Available in Year 3, Registered in Honours Journalism
    • Broadcast/New Media, Emerging Journalism and Public Relations Concentrations
  • Completed 100- and 200-level courses in Journalism (including the required Skills-based course)

Transfer Credits

Students who complete the program with an average of 70% or higher receive 5.0 senior JN credits.

Applying to Conestoga College

  1. Make an Academic Advising Appointment to ensure you meet the prerequisites of the program.
  2. Apply to the program online through the Ontario College Application Service (www.ontariocolleges.ca).
  3. Notify lbacademicadvising@wlu.ca  that you have applied to the program.
  4. Upon acceptance, see an Academic Advisor to complete the Letter of Permission.
  5. Attend the Program in Year 3!
