Justice, Crime, and Deviance: Regional Graduate Research and Networking Conference
The 2nd annual Justice, Crime and Deviance Graduate Research and Networking Conference will take place at Laurier's Brantford campus, in the Carnegie Building (73 George Street).
It will feature 29 MA and PhD student speakers registered from universities across Ontario, including Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Ottawa, Osgoode Law School at York University, and University of Windsor.
Topics include: youth justice, legal policy, the role of social media and policing.
The conference also features a poster session, and an address from Mayor of the City of Brantford Chris Friel.
Included in registration is a complimentary continental breakfast, snacks, and catered lunch. The conference runs from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and is open to graduate and undergraduate students, and community members looking to be exposed to exciting new research in the academic field.
This also provides as excellent opportunity for individuals looking to network with graduate students across the province.
