This two-day workshop will offer an overview of child and play therapy options for mental health, child welfare, hospital settings, private practice and other venues of healing. An overview of the history of children's mental health will be presented along with the current interventions for children and families around the world. Variations of play therapy tools and models will conclude day one, with experiential components incorporated.

Day two will focus more intensively on the application of models of child and play therapy (single-session to long-term, attachment-based therapies). Case presentations will be highlighted throughout the day. Confidentiality in case presentations is stressed at all times.
