Tecnológico de Monterrey

Campus Ciudad de México

Tecnológico de Monterrey was founded in 1943 thanks to the vision of Eugenio Garza Sada and a group of businessmen who established a non-profit, private university aimed to educate professionals and to equip them with the skills needed to succeed as leaders in today's world. Since its foundation, Tecnológico de Monterrey attained prestige, not only for its academic standards but also for the culture of entrepreneurship, hard work, efficiency and responsibility it seeks to instill in its students. Tecnológico de Monterrey's mission is to contribute to the development of individuals with integrity, ethical standards and a humanistic outlook, who are internationally competitive in their professional fields.

Tecnológico de Monterrey's educational model fosters the development of values, capabilities and attitudes in students that will enable them to respond to the demands of today's world with a global and humanistic perspective. Its hallmark is to engage students in taking over a committed role in their own learning under the guidance and supervision of their professors, who offer their input to expand, enhance and elucidate the knowledge being built by students.

Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México is the second biggest campus within our system and is located in the south of the city. It has more than 8,000 students enrolled at High School, Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Our campus counts with a huge library and online databases, computer labs, indoor gym and sports facilities, coffee and snack shops, ATMs, free transportation to and from the campus and on campus medical service.

Sports and cultural activities are important for a person's education. As an exchange student you will become part of the Tecnológico de Monterrey student's community by participating in cultural and sports activities. All students of our campus have access to sports facilities such as the fitness center and sports halls, American football, soccer and volleyball fields, tennis and basketball courts, among others. Cultural activities offered by the campus include theater, musical, literature and dancing workshops, art exhibitions, chess, jazz, movie clubs, pottery, photography, painting and much more.

At Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad we offer a variety of courses taught in Spanish and English as well as foreign language and Mexican culture courses. Tecnológico de Monterrey encourages teamwork, small group projects and student participation.
