About Neil Aitchison

If you don’t recognize Neil Aitchison’s face, you surely will recognize his voice from countless radio and TV commercials, sold-out live theatre productions, and highly acclaimed emcee duties for local and national charitable fundraisers. A modern day jack-of-all-trades, Neil draws on his colourful experiences to focus on the positive and humourous aspects of life. By sharing a few laughs, homespun yarns, and honest reflections, he will clearly demonstrate how you can cope with life’s constant changes and stresses by exercising your humour option.

Actively involved in the Kitchener-Waterloo community for 40 years, Neil has been named a Paul Harris Fellow three times (Rotary’s highest honour), and in November 2012 received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for his outstanding contribution to Canada at home and abroad. This was his second 'royal' honour, having received the Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. A gifted communicator, Neil has received rave reviews headlining for prestigious charitable causes including Sleeping Children Around the World, Rotary International, and The Bill Clinton Luncheon. Whether on air, on stage or on a job site with Ontario's premiere general contractor, Melloul-Blamey Construction, Neil comes away with a variety of fascinating experiences he readily shares with his audiences.
