PLEASE NOTE: Potlucks and other private functions involving prepared food from a private kitchen are permitted only at Laurier’s Brantford
campus and must be done in accordance with the following guidelines.

Campus departments or groups of departments and student groups or organizations may host internal potlucks or private events for formally recognized members only, provided that the following guidelines are adhered to.

LAURIER BRANTFORD - FOOD SAFETY GUIDELINES
To prevent the occurrence of foodborne illnesses, the following guidelines must be followed for any event being held on campus involving food (i.e., BBQ’s, potlucks, non-licensed catering events, bake sales and other private functions). Please note that the following are minimum requirements and are not all-inclusive; the sales of food items in both outdoor and indoor common areas of the university are further subject to the regulations under the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act and the Brantford City by-laws.
