Fire Safety Plans
Safety, Health, Environment & Risk Management (SHERM) has completed emergency evacuation procedures for the university academic buildings. The emergency evacuation plans are designed for all members of the university community to ensure safety in the event of a fire alarm or controlled evacuation on campus. All members of the community are asked to follow these procedures and to listen to the direction provided by the volunteers in the event of a fire alarm.
These plans were designed under the guidance of the Waterloo Fire department and have been submitted for approval. As these plans are approved, they will be posted on this webpage. If you require a copy before they are posted, please contact the office at extension 2874.
