Dr. Endrizzi (Ph.D. University of Trento, Italy) is a Research Associate with the Cold Regions Research Centre. He uses the distributed hydrological model GEOtop to examine the spatial patterns of ground thaw and runoff generation in organic-covered permafrost terrains. Much of his research is focussed on the development of algorithms for coupled heat and mass transfer processes. He combines his modelling research with field studies in Yukon, NWT, and northern Europe.
