About Anthropology

Who Are We?

The WLU Anthropology Students' Association (ASA) is a student-run organization for the promotion of the ideals, philosophies, and practices of the discipline of anthropology among students who are interested in human diversity and culture.

What Are We All About?

The Association acts as a network between like-minded students outside of the classroom. Our aim is to foster a better understanding of anthropology in both its academic and non-academic forms. We also seek to promote a dialogue between students and faculty through engaging events and activities. In addition, the Association actively involves its members in raising awareness of anthropological issues among the student body at Laurier by promoting awareness and discussion. Most importantly, we want our members to gain valuable knowledge, experiences and friends in a fun and informative manner!
