MA205 - Differential Equations I

Spring 2013

***Lab Sessions Begin Monday, May 6th, 2013***

Lab Number Day of the Week Time Room
1
Monday 7:00 p.m. - 8:20 p.m. BA113

Contact Trevor, the Lab Coordinator, as soon as possible if you are going to miss or have missed any lab session. There are no 'deferred' lab writes.

Description of Lab Sessions: At the start of each lab session, a set of problems based on current work and required skill level will be handed out and each student will complete as much of the report as he/she can in the time allotted. A short introduction by the Laboratory Coordinator (or an undergraduate Instructional Assistant) will summarize the intended goals of the lab. After that, students should work independently on the problems, but may ask questions of the lab IA concerning general approaches, etc., to take. The particular sections of the text from which the lab questions are derived will be noted on MyLearningSpace. Students are expected to have attempted all of the assigned homework problems pertaining to that week's work and to have worked through the appropriate lab prep. Students should bring these resources, as well as calculators, etc., to the lab session each and every week.

Schedule of Lab Topics/Lab Prep/Solutions: All necessary laboratory information will be posted on the "MA205 Lab" link in MyLearningSpace.  The website will be updated on a weekly basis with text references, laboratory preparatory notes/problems, and solutions to assignments. Refer to this site regularly in order to stay informed on lab material!
