In order to see your grades:
1. Remember to close your browser when you are finished.
2. Log onto: www.mylaurier.ca and click on LORIS link
3. Enter secure area by submitting your Laurier ID number and PIN
4. Click on "Login"
5. Click on "Student Services"
6. Click on "Student Records"
7. Click on "WLU Official Final Grades"
8. Select a Term from the drop down list, and click on
"Display Grades"
9. Use the "Back" button of your browser to back up a level.
10. Close your browser.
Class schedule information is available by clicking on "Registration" at step 6 instead of "Student Records".
The PIN number used is the same as that used for WebCT. Your PIN has initially been set to your date of birth in the format MMDDYY.
PLEASE NOTE: When choosing a new PIN, you may use 6 to 8 alpha/numeric characters (it must contain at least 1 number). If the PIN has not been successfully entered after 3 attempts, you will need to answer 3 security questions. If they are not answered correctly, complete the online PIN Reset form to have your PIN reset. If you come in person to have your PIN reset, you will need to bring picture id.
The Laurier On-Line Registration and Information System (LORIS) can be accessed
at the

The Home Page contains links to Admissions, Alumni, the Undergraduate Calendar
and the Undergraduate Timetable, as well as the Secure Login needed by students
to look at their records. Holds can be viewed, grades can be
checked, your record of course work can be examined, fee information is
available, and name/address information can be checked and revised. In addition,
your class and examination schedule can be examined and printed. At this time, printing
works best using Internet Explorer. When you have completed
viewing your information, please close your browser.
Program Confirmation for Fall 2013/Winter 2014/Spring 2014
All
registered students will be automatically confirmed by the Registrar's
Office in their current academic program on LORIS for registration in
the next academic year Fall 2013/Winter 2014/Spring 2014.
Current
Year 1 students who have not declared an honours specialization must do
so by linking to their LORIS account between March 1 and April 27th.
(Refer to step-by-step instructions below.)
For most Year 2, 3
and 4 students - no further action is required until the course
registration period in June/July (dates given below). If you wish to
make a change to your program, you may do so by linking to your LORIS
account between March 1 and April 27th (See instructions given below.)
Your program change will be reviewed by the Office of the Registrar and a
decision recorded at the end of the Winter (Jan-April) term.

All Year 1 students are required to confirm their honours specialization and for any upper year undergraduate student wanting to change their current program. To do this, go to LORIS no earlier than March 1:

Select Fall 2013 (Winter '14 and Spring '14 terms will be changed automatically as well)
Select "Confirm or Change Undergraduate Program"
Make your selections from the drop-down menu and submit.
Students have until April 28th to make program changes on LORIS.
If the program you wish is not listed on the menu, or you miss the April 28th deadline, submit the Program Selection Form (online version for appropriate Faculty).
Online Registration
Year 1 Students
Year 1
full-time students, who have confirmed their Offer of Admission to
Laurier with the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), can
register for courses online, using the Laurier Online Registration
Information System (LORIS), beginning May 1 at 9:00 a.m.
New Year 1 students should refer to the Academic Dates in the Undergraduate Academic Calendar, for deadlines.

All Returning Year 1, 2, 3, 4 Students:
You may add and drop courses using LORIS throughout the summer/fall/winter noting the deadline dates in the Undergraduate Academic Calendar.
If you do not have a time ticket for the term that you wish to select,
please submit the appropriate Program Selection Form below. This form
may also be used to revise your degree program.
Students wishing to register for the upcoming spring/summer/intersession
period from May to August will be confirmed automatically as long as
they are registered in courses in Year 1, 2 or 3 in either the fall or
winter term. This allows you to use LORIS to register beginning January 15, 2013 for all courses which commence in May or July.
Complete withdrawal can be completed using LORIS or emailed to the staff listed below. If you are on campus, you must submit the Full-Time Withdrawal Request Form available in the Dean's Office of your faculty. If you have left the campus and wish to withdraw completely from the university, please submit an email or fax to the appropriate staff contacts below with your full name, ID number and program information.

Address and Phone Information
You may now change your home address yourself on LORIS. It is the student's responsibility to provide correct and
current address information to the Office of the
Registrar. In cases of emergency it is imperative that we have the most
up-to-date information for your local and permanent address and
telephone numbers on file.
Invoices are mailed to the
Home/Permanent Address. Hard copy correspondence during the academic year is
mailed to the Local Address. Please note that the official means of
communication with students is your Laurier email account.
In order to revise your address in "real time", login to LORIS at the following link: http://loris.wlu.ca
Once you have logged in,
select
Personal Information and then select
Update Address(es) and Phone(s).
Please read the instructions for updating carefully.
Name Change
Bring your legal name change documentation
(ie. marriage certificate, birth certificate, divorce decree, change of
name certificate issued by the courts) to the Office of the Registrar at
202 Regina Street.
Academic progression decisions are made normally after the completion of 4.0 credits of study. This may differ if you were re-admitted or admitted conditionally. You may view your academic decision as follows:

- In mid-June, login to LORIS to check your official grades and academic decision under the Winter 2013 term. The decision references the program you requested for the following fall/winter.
- Note that your degree program is listed under your Unofficial Record of Course Work.
- If you did not meet the requirements of the program you
confirmed for fall/winter, you will be placed in a program that you are
eligible for. (e.g., you selected Honours Sociology – did not meet
honours GPA requirements – you will be placed in General BA without
designation). If you wish to revise this choice and are eligible for
another program, submit the Program Selection Form.
- If you are taking courses in the summer to upgrade, you may contact the department in September. Register Online for Spring/Intersession/Summer courses starting January 15.
The Undergraduate Academic Calendar contains program requirements and course descriptions as well as all university rules and regulations.
The Registration Guide for Returning Students contains information you will need to register online using LORIS. Common error messages are explained in this document as well. All students are expected to register in at least some courses by July 22. After July 22 there is a late registration fee. The dates given below indicate the start date for students - courses may be added and dropped from this date through to add/drop deadline dates in the fall and winter.
If you owe fees, you cannot activate your LORIS record. Contact the Business Office immediately in order to pay the outstanding amount and have the hold on your account removed.
If you wish to take courses in the summer and are in Year 1, 2, or 3, register online for Spring/Intersession/ Summer courses
beginning January 15, 2013.
The Program Selection Form is available for
Year 4 students or other students who have been absent from Laurier in
order to register for an upcoming term.
If you wish to register and
have not been a student for more than 18 months, submit the Request for Re-registration Form.
If you are unable to use LORIS for any reason or the program you are requesting is unavailable on LORIS, print off or submit the appropriate 'faculty-based' online Program Selection Form to the Office of the Registrar. We will determine your eligibility for that program when final grades are received in May.
Note that some competitive programs in SBE and Science, such as the BBA and Kinesiology, require a request for Program Transfer.

The charts below indicate when students can first access LORIS to select their courses. Once the window opens, it remains open until the end of the add period for the fall and/or winter term. Students must select at least one fall term course by July 22, 2013 (11:59 pm) and one winter term course by November 11, 2013 (11:59 pm) in order to avoid the Late Registration charge. Selecting courses by these deadline dates allows the university time to put proper resources in place to support students.
