Graduation/Convocation



All students MUST apply to graduate by completing the Application to Graduate online form found at: http://www.wlu.ca/roforms.

Deadline dates for applying to graduate are as follows:

Spring Convocation    
Fall Convocation
 January 15 (application fee applies)    
 August 1 (application fee applies)
 January 16 to April 15 (application fee plus late fee apply)  August 2 to October 1 (application fee plus late fee apply)
 After April 15 - no applications accepted  After October 1 - no applications accepted

Information regarding the application fee and late fee can be found under Miscellaneous Fees in the Undergraduate Academic Calendar.

Make sure you check LORIS for updates on your Application to Graduate under Unofficial Record of Course Work and/or Official Grades (depending on the time of year) for the last term of registration.

If you have applied to graduate and are unable to attend the Convocation Ceremony, you may complete the Convocation Non-Attendance form available at: http://www.wlu.ca/roforms

Participation cards are mailed to the home address on record to all students who have been cleared to graduate, in mid May for Spring Convocation and mid-October for Fall Convocation. Make sure you clear any outstanding fees or holds.

Post Convocation:
To order duplicate and/or replacement copies of your degree, complete the Duplicate Degree Request form found at: http://www.wlu.ca/roforms or contact Sarah Wong at sawong@wlu.ca or ext. 6355
