BI236 – Cell and Molecular Biology (Winter 2012)
An introduction to contemporary cell and molecular biology. Topics may include structure and function of cells, aspects of cell and molecular signaling, cell-cell interactions and extracellular matrix, molecular processes within cells including transcription and translation, current techniques in cell and molecular biology, and applications to biotechnology, medicine and other health related sciences.
Immunology (Course code and date TBA)
Investigating adaptive (both humoral and cellular) and innate immunity. This course will introduce the molecular and cellular basis of immunity, with a focus on mammalian immune responses and human health.
