Academic Support

The Centre for Student Success supports your academic experiences at Laurier, with services ranging from supplement instruction for traditionally hard courses (we?re looking at you, economics) to helping improve your writing and study skills. And our Accessible Learning Centre helps students with documented disabilities reach their full academic potential.

Leadership, Volunteering and Work

The Career Development Centre is your resource for learning what you can do with your degree, finding a job and apply to further education. Our Co-operative Education department provides opportunies to gain paid work experience during your studies, while our Centre for Community Service-Learning can hook you up with volunteer placements that give you experience while you help a community in need. Be sure to check out our Student Life and Engagement office in Brantford or our Student Leadership Centre in Waterloo for even more opportunities for growth and leadership experience.

Your student government doesn?t just represent your interests ? it offers plenty of opportunities to get involved in shaping the student experience. Be an icebreaker for O-Week, or get your campaign posters ready and run for president.

Health and Wellness

Your health and wellness are integral to both your personal and academic success, and we encourage all of our students to takes advantage of the services provided by the Wellness Centres, which covers all your medical, mental and wellness needs.

The Diversity and Equity Office advocates for the equal treatment of everyone, regardless of your gender, race, ethnicity, culture, sexuality, religion, age, ability or socio-economic background.

Campus Safety

Everyday our Special Constables strive to make Laurier a safer place to learn, live and work, and our student-run Foot Patrol will accompany you as you walk to or from campus at night ? no walk is too short.

Have you heard about our OneCard? You can use it for taking the bus, checking out a library book, buying food, and much more. Need help with OSAP? Our Service Laurier offices on both the Waterloo and Brantford campuses are your one-stop shop for all enrollment services, including registration, scholarships and bursaries.
