Student Service Desk Analyst



Description

Staffs the ITS Help Desk; provides information regarding ITS policies, procedures, facilities and supported hardware/software to all levels of the University community; analyzes user requests/problems and provides workable solutions whenever possible or appropriate; provides software and hardware support to the University community; collects information from users for Work Order entry; carries out other user activities as directed.

Job Requirements:

Computer software and hardware knowledge; familiarity with Laurier's e mail computing applications; ability to communicate and interact effectively with users of various backgrounds and levels of technical expertise; good analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; attention to detail; reliability; accuracy.  Candidates must be a registered University student.
