I’m a first year student. Do I need to create a student e-mail?

No. A student e-mail is automatically created for you when you confirm your acceptance.

 
How do I set up wireless internet?

Go to http://wireless.wlu.ca and follow the instructions for your operating system. If you have any problems, you can take your computer to the ITS Help Desk located in the library.

 
How do I reset my LORIS password?

To reset your LORIS password online, fill out the LORIS PIN Reset Request form.

Alternatively, you must contact the Registrar’s Office, at (519) 884-1970 ext. 6372, to have your LORIS PIN reset. 

ITS cannot change your LORIS pin.

 
How do I reset my Network password?

There are two options available to change your e-mail password.

  1. You can go to the Student Service Desk in the concourse with your One Card (No other forms if ID will be accepted) and have your password changed immediately.
  2. You can fill out the Forgot Student Password form found at: http://webaccess.wlu.ca. This option takes up to two (2) business days to complete.

Student passwords cannot be changed over the phone.

     
    Where do I go to access my Laurier Webmail?

    You can access your myLaurier Student Webmail via the myLaurier Student Gateway (www.mylaurier.ca),  or go there directly at g.mylaurier.ca.

       
      What is my Network username and password?

      Your username is the first four (4) letters of your last name followed the last four (4) digits of your student number. When logging in, do not append "@mylaurier.ca" to the end of your username.

      If you have never changed your network password before, then your default password is your date if bith in the format of MMDDYYYY.

       
      How do I reset my Webmail or myLearningSpace password?

      Your Laurier Student Webmail as well as your myLearningSpace accounts are all linked back to your network account. To change or reset your password on any of these accounts simply follow the instructions for changing or reseting your network account.

      *Note: Changing your network account password will also change the password for all other systems linked to the network (ie. Wireless, Webmail, myLearningSpace, etc.).

       
      How do I contact the Student Support Desk?

      You can find the Student Support Desk in the concourse of the FNCC. You can drop in at anytime durring our hours of opperation.
