University Health Insurance Program Fees for International/Exchange Students
Your premium depends on the number of people the member is enrolling and the duration of coverage needed. Refer to the premium table below to calculate your premium costs monthly or by term.
The premium table is reviewed annually and is subject to change. Rates changes are reflected on the website by May 1st. Students must pay the annual premium (12 months) if you are enrolled in a credit-degree program.
The premium may increase or decrease from year-to-year depending on:
- the cost of claims UHIP pays each year
- changes in the cost of health services and medical treatments
- the effect of inflation
