How do I obtain my OneCard?
Go to Service Laurier Brantford, located in Grand River Hall, GRH202. We require the following in order to provide you with your OneCard:

  1. Your student number.
  2. Proof that you are enrolled in classes at Laurier.
    • Please bring a print out from LORIS that shows you are enrolled in a class, or
    • Your acceptance letter.
  3. One piece of government issued ID with your photo on it. Some examples include:
    • Driver’s License;
    • Health Card;
    • Passport

Is there a fee for the OneCard?
No, your initial OneCard is free, although if you lose it there is a replacement fee of $20. Damaged or broken cards will be replaced free of charge.

What happens if I lose my OneCard?
If you lose your OneCard, report the loss to Service Laurier Brantford during normal hours of operation. Inform the library, as well. Your card will be deactivated and unusable the moment you report it missing. You are responsible for all transactions prior to deactivation. You can also deactivate your card online.

What happens to my money if I have a balance remaining at the end of the year?
Any money remaining on your OneCard at the end of the Winter Term will be transferred to your Convenience Account. The money will carry over for the following year free of charge.

What PIN do I need to use to make purchases at the Bookstore online?
The PIN for Bookstore purchases, using your convenience account, is the same PIN you use for checking your account status on the OneCard website. If you have never used the OneCard website before, go to the "Create PIN for First Time User" page on the OneCard website and create your PIN online.
