New Program Development
New Program Development
The development of a new undergraduate or graduate program can take between 18-30 months from the date of submission of a Statement of Intent to the academic term in which the program is first offered. Sample average timelines can be found here. Please be aware that these timelines are intended to represent the stages of the development process for a new program intending to enrol students for a fall term start date on the year following final program approval.
As of April 2013, the earliest start date for new program proposals currently in development is September 2014.
The earliest start date for new program proposals not yet approved by the Program Review Sub-Committee is September 2015.
