Art Circulation Program

Returning Art in Circulation

As announced, several departmental re-locations will occur over the upcoming spring, summer and fall. To ensure that the artwork in circulation and registered by departments are accurately accounted for, we ask that all works of art be returned to WLU Permanent Collection prior to your areas re-location.

It is the responsibility of the Department to arrange the return of the artwork through Physical Resources and cover the costs. Please indicate on your work order that artwork needs to be delivered to 1C15 - arts storage, Arts Building.

If requested, returned works can be placed on reserve for departments. Once settled, departments are asked to contact extension 3800 to confirm if all original work(s) will be returned and to arrange delivery to their new location. Departments are responsible to cover the delivery costs.

It is very important that artwork be returned to art storage and not moved directly to new office locations. This will reduce the likelihood of pieces going missing and the potential for damage.

Please see link below for the form which needs to accompany all returned works of art.
