Dr. Enrique Tames is a world authority on the impact of technology on education and runs many of the Tec's projects in this area in Mexico.  He won the World Summit Award as the best Educational Model of Mobile Learning in Latin America in 2010 at Abu Dhabi, and is short listed for another prize for the mobile learning project Mati-Tec to be awarded in 2013.  Dr. Tames will describe the journey into the digital age and its impact on global society, how we learn and how we continue to evolve. Further, he will explore the relationship between the digital society and the rise of "mobile" learning, focusing on its impact of our understanding of education and its future.
