Consultations
Educational Development staff members are available to provide one-on-one and group consultations to graduate students, faculty and instructional staff, post-doctoral fellows, departments and committees on a wide range of issues, including course design (online/face-to-face/hybrid), curriculum, development, assessment, instructional strategies, active learning, teaching dossiers, student feedback and so on.

- developing an evaluation plan
- preparing a teaching dossier and/or philosophy statement
- exploring student assessment options
- coordinating a classroom observation
- preparing a nomination package for a teaching/technology/innovation award
- designing an evaluation rubric
- developing or redesigning a new or existing course
At the department level, this may include:
- developing and providing customized workshops or presentations on teaching and learning topics in support of local initiatives
- supporting and advising on curriculum development efforts (e.g., developing a new program, course design)
- developing customized services and resources in support of new faculty and graduate students,
- setting-up a department-based teaching forum/teaching circle
- providing a an overview of Educational Development services and supports at a departmental meeting
