Parking
Parking is available in municipal lots. It is advised that graduates use the Market Street Parkade, or one of the Municipal Lots (No. 2 - Harmony Square, between Colborne and Dalhousie, No. 3 - Darling Street, between Market and Queen Street, or No. 4 - Dalhousie Street, at Dalhousie and King Street.)
Accessibility and Special Accommodations
Please contact complete the online request form to reserve accessible seating or contact Beth dela Rosa (bdelarosa@wlu.ca or 519.756.8228 ext. 5665) to make a request.
The doors to the Sanderson Centre will open between 30 and 45 minutes prior to the start time for the ceremony. Guests may find seating anywhere in the theatre, with the exception of rows marked reserved. There is no assigned seating for guests.
ACTUAL TICKETS ARE NOT ISSUED FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE THEATRE.
Flowers
Flowers will be available for purchase in the foyer of the Sanderson Centre.
Gifts
If you are looking for a gift for the new graduate, take a look at the Stedman Community Bookstore. Possible gifts include mugs, glassware, medallions and grad rings.
Reception
A reception will be held for all graduates following each of the ceremonies in the Research & Academic Centre Courtyard.
Photographer at Convocation
A photographer from GradTrak Graduation Images will be taking on-stage photos of all graduates. Proofs will be sent to the graduates home address. Visit www.gradimages.com or call 1-800-424-3686 to order.
Degree Frames
Frames may be pre-ordered or purchased day-of from the Alumni Association.
Convocation ceremonies will be streamed live via UStream.
