Broader Public Sector Procurement and Expense Training
Wilfrid Laurier University is subject to new legislation as part of the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2010. The Government of Ontario has passed into the law the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive and the Broader Public Sector Expense Directive effective April 1st, 2011. President’s Group has endorsed mandatory training for all staff and faculty that partake in procurement or submit expense claims. If you are involved in the purchasing of supplies, equipment, or services, the hiring of contractors or consultants, or the preparation, submission, or approval of expense reimbursement claims then you are required to take this training.
