Selection Process: Student Lottery
The online lottery application will open on Monday, June 6, 2016. Online student application forms must be completed no later than Friday, July 29, 2016. The determination of who receives a student parking pass is based on a lottery of the applications received. Students who are successful in the parking lottery will be contacted through their MyLaurier email address. Notification of lottery success, including information on how to pick-up your permit, will be sent out by mid-August 2016. For the on-campus lottery, there are approximately 60 spots available.
Parking passes become available for pick-up by lottery winners beginning on Thursday, September 1, 2016 and remain available until Friday, September 16, 2016.
Any passes that are not picked-up by this date will be available for general sale starting Monday, September 19, 2016 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Permits can be obtained from Service Laurier (GRH202).
For those who are not successful in the student parking lottery, premium parking is available at the municipal Parkade. Permits for the full 8 months are available at Service Laurier located at GRH202. Month-to-month permits can be purchased at the City of Brantford parking office within the Parkade. The Parkade offers guaranteed, covered parking. Parking is also available on the street (with time limits) and at additional municipal lots.
