The seminar and the courses include a number of key areas of applied and pure mathematics, modelling, financial engineering and computational science. The titles of the courses and the seminar are listed below. Each course involves 3 lecture hours per week. Note: In the 500 level courses, a limited number of undergraduates will be allowed to register. In the 600 level courses, only graduate students may register.
Courses are taught by graduate faculty in the Department of Mathematics who have active research programs. For most courses, the instructor's research overlaps the course material and so students in the class have access to leading edge problems in course topics.
