Laurier submits Strategic Mandate Agreement

Wilfrid Laurier University President Max Blouw submitted the institution’s Strategic Mandate Agreement this afternoon in accordance with the Oct. 5 deadline set by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
The Ministry requested that all universities and colleges in Ontario prepare a Strategic Mandate Agreement as part of a comprehensive review of post-secondary education in Ontario.
The submissions will be reviewed in light of a document issued by the province in June called, Strengthening Ontario’s Centres of Creativity, Innovation and Knowledge: A Discussion Paper on Innovation to Make Our University and College System Stronger.
