Laurier president holds town hall meetings on multi-campus governance

Laurier President Dr. Max Blouw invites members of the Laurier community to attend one of two town hall meetings being held Tuesday, May 25 to share information on the progress of the President's Task Force on Multi-Campus Governance and the potential for a Laurier campus in Milton.

The first town hall meeting will start at 11 a.m. in the Senate and Board Chamber on the Waterloo campus. A second town hall meeting will take place at 3 p.m. in room 205 of the Odeon Building on the Brantford campus.

The President's Task Force on Multi-Campus Governance was established in March 2010 based on the premise that Laurier has been evolving as a multi-campus university since the opening of the Brantford campus in 1999. The Task Force is charged with examining Laurier's multi-campus reality and providing recommendations to the university community, including Senate and the Board of Governors, as to how a "Laurier federation" should be structured.
