Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Waterloo, the City of Waterloo, and Waterloo Regional Tourism and Marketing Corporation announced that "ConnecTent -- Experience Waterloo: An Uptown Celebration" is now open and free for all Congress 2012 delegates and the community.
Please join ConnecTent for two more fantastic nights:
Tuesday, May 29, 2012: Walter Ostenak, three-time Grammy award-winner, will treat us to a night of Polka and Bavarian Classics. The energy of Oktoberfest celebrations will be brought to life under the tent.
Wednesday, May 30, 2012: Wilfrid Laurier University and University of Waterloo's favourite local band, BlackWater Draw, will host a night of dancing and fun.
All are invited to stop by anytime after 6:30 p.m. The first 100 people each night will be entered into a draw to win a $300 hotel package to attend Oktoberfest between October 5, 2012 and October 13, 2012. Make sure you come early for your chance to win this great prize.
Those who have already bought tickets will receive $10 in food vouchers. All attendees are encouraged to try the local vendors such as the Charcoal Steakhouse, Bingemans, St. Jacob's Catering, Wildcraft, and local microbrewries.
