Mar 28/12

After four academic lectures on various aspects of Mozart’s and Da Ponte’s opera Le Nozze di Figaro and Beaumarchais’ play, a talk with mezzo-soprano and voice professor Kimberly Barber about her interpretation of the role of Cherubino, breathtaking performances of arias and duets from Le Nozze di Figaro by Opera Laurier students, and a film screening of Beaumarchais the Scoundrel participants and visitors left happy and inspired.
